McCarthy’s 4 Ps of Marketing (known as the marketing mix) is an established framework that consists of the following elements:

  • Price
  • Place
  • Promotion

And yet, when you think of what digital marketing includes, its activities exist under the promotion section. And even then, there’s a lot more to promotion than just digital.

So we’re talking about a sub-section of a section of your marketing mix.

When was the last time you took a look at the other components of your marketing mix?

How much more opportunity and potential exists in your business that you’re not tapping into?

Digital marketing isn’t really marketing – it’s digital promotion, or even in many cases just digital advertising.

It’s a tiny slice of what could be.
